Kids love reading nooks! Whenever we have play dates, kids are drawn to a sweet little window seat in our playroom. They love to sit there even though there are no cushions, books, artwork or anything. If they love it now, plain as can be, I can only imagine how popular it will be once I turn it into a reading nook.

Corner Reading Nook
This idea is really cute if you have a small space. It looks fancy, but it’s really just a few pillows and cute decorations. From: Clean & Scentsible reading nook.
Tent Covered Reading Corner
This play tent idea is perfect for a little hideaway. The book ladder is a great idea too – way easier for kids to see the books they want to read when the cover is visible! Great for those really think books that seem to get lost on the shelf. From: SAS Interiors 3-in-1 play tent.
Special Reading Spot
If you don’t have a space for an entire reading nook why not give the kids a reading spot instead? You could put this in the child’s bedroom or carve out a space in the living room. From: Oh Hey Mason reading “love-spot”.
